When you create an account we store your email address. When you use the app we store the asset data you enter — amounts, types, dates, and labels. We do not request access to your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, or any external financial systems. You provide every number manually.

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the AssetWorth service. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertising partners. We may use anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "most-used asset types") to guide product decisions — this data cannot be traced back to you.

All data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (TLS 1.3). Our infrastructure is hosted in EU data centres. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus a 30-day deletion grace period after account closure.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the service:

• Authentication provider (session management only)
• Cloud hosting provider (encrypted storage and compute)
• Error monitoring (anonymised stack traces only)

None of these providers receive your personal financial data.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, export, or delete your data at any time. You can export a full copy of your data from your account settings. To request deletion contact us and we will complete it within 30 days.
